President Muhammadu Buhari is proposing a N6 trillion budget for 2016. Based on available records, the budget is the highest Nigeria has ever had.

2012 - N4.74 trillion
2013 - N4.92 trillion
2014 - N4.6 trillion i
2015 - N5.06 trillion in the current year (including the N574.5 billion approved as supplementary budget).
